Sara, I strongly agree with your statement because it is true people are dying because they don't have access to clean water. I would like to extend by saying I think we should all do something about it and take action like it says in the WE DAY book "plan to take action". -Sophia

I agree, about 71 percent of the Earth's surface is water-covered, and the oceans hold about 96.5 percent of all Earth's water. So why aren't they drinking healthy clean water? Because they are to far away from a water source (to add on to your point), already an average woman or child in a developing country has to walk about 3 hours a day to get dirty water that will not be healthy to drink, imagine how long would it take to get actually clean water?

Kate I think that anyone should have access to clean water. Did you know that Only 0.007% of water on the planet is available for drinking? I find that that isn't right, people in Canada have access to clean water, so why shouldn't children in developing countries not have those privileges? The weird thing is that 96.5% of the world is water, but 783 million people do not have access to clean water. I think that there is more then enough water for the world, it just needs to be sanitized.
